The Correspondence Program

Humanizing the classroom brings together leaders behind bars and college students in an ongoing educational dialogue. Paired throughout the semester, curious queries evolve into nuanced, amicable conversation. Those too often left behind by education to get to teach and reach. Tomorrow’s business and civic leaders learn rare authentic lessons about the systems and lives they will influence. Instructors receive curricula-boosting material unavailable in textbooks that enraptures students. Everyone gets a more humanized perspective crossing demographic boundaries.

To participate in this program, whether you are a professor, a student, or a person behind bars, please email our co-founder Gin Carter at gin@thehumanizationproject.org with “HP Correspondence Program” as your subject line.
